Manager in one of the 5 largest banks in South Africa credited with using inspirational leadership to drive and guide teams and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.  Utilized expertise by providing team guidance, leadership, and motivation.  Ensured that all members buy into a vision of high performance and an agile development team.  Worked within the Forex IT payments team.  Applied industry knowledge to ensure end to end delivery of the Forex payment systems.

I fullfiled many roles within my various teams, I am involved within the business at senior management level working in IT strategy and incorporating this with enterprise strategies, the main role is to build and manage relationships with relative business units and senior management to ensure delivery and alignment to enterprise strategies and goals. I assist in solutioning, designing for improvements, enhancements and new product launches. In many cases I am involved in the complete SDLC process.

Over the past several years my role has moved from a manager/technical programmer to more management based I have been exposed and interacted with all levels of management within the organisation from General managers to Directors and CEO’s. I have given presentations, been involved in technological strategies and systems designs within the organisation in this time period. Managing team delivery, work allocation, solution delivery and quality, coaching.

Enhancing and maintaining an in house written JAVA system that in combination with RPGILE, XML and XSL generate all our companies’ documentation to be generated for print, fax or email formats.
