I help Danfoss plants navigate their difficulties such as stagnated productivity, tight capacity, excess of inventory.

In 2011 I joined a 3-people team to build a new plant in China. Achievements: layout design; material flow; definition of departments, hand-over to department managers when on board; training lean principles & tools. During a management restructure I was in charge of one of our production lines, with 50 operators and a third of the plant’s revenue. Within four months line productivity improved 20%, bottleneck was moved upstream and local talent coached into a supervisory position.

Introduced our Production System to the sites from planning, execution and training, to hand-over to our local teams. • Led operational improvement efforts (kaizen) to reduce changeover times, lead times and inventory, and to improve visual control • Set up the lean facilitator function. Train them and coach them (on-site and remotely) • Trained our operational continuous improvement approach to factory management teams • Create the structure for escalation, follow-up and best-practice sharing
