Leading and providing technical direction to international teams in large-scale, complex transition and transformation programs. I act as a strategic partner to clients and the primary point of escalation, ensuring T&T objectives are met on time and within budget. In this capacity, I define and manage the entire governance framework, risk management, and the T&T budget.

Developed the IT strategy and technology roadmap while leading the entire technology division. Responsible for building internal development and DevOps teams and introducing agile methodologies. Ensured compliance with regulatory requirements and professionalized IT processes across the board.

Directed the bank's core technology divisions, including Application Development, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, and Reporting. I was responsible for modernizing the application landscape, building a central data infrastructure, and ensuring the stability and evolution of mission-critical banking systems.

Held strategic responsibility for ING Germany's core IT platforms, including Frontend, Middleware, and Process Automation. I led the modernization of our platform architecture, steered the integration with global ING Group platforms, and managed key outsourcing and vendor relationships to drive efficiency and innovation.

Progressed from Senior Developer to Technical Lead, taking full ownership of the foundational web platform I helped create for internal back-office applications. I was responsible for the platform's technical evolution, coordinating major framework migrations, and mentoring development teams on modern technologies and best practices to drive performance and efficiency.

Began my career with a formal apprenticeship in application development ("Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung") and progressed into a full-time developer role. My core responsibility was the end-to-end development of web applications designed for the analysis and evaluation of large datasets.
