Jörgen Samuelsson

Bearing Consulting Ltd is a management consultancy focusing on programme / project management and expert consulting toward financial institutions, capital introduction and product development for the asset management industry and corporate development / corporate finance toward SME's. Bearing has senior level staff with top management experience from the american and european investment banking and consulting industries.

Secondary job in 2000 – October 2007 and then full time. Associated to Bearing Consulting Ltd since 2009. Assignments in areas like corporate management, business development, IT management, business acquisitions and change management. Counselling in investing and capital raising activities. Combines the consultative role towards companies, investors and managers with operational execution. Executive coaching assignments, both in-house and as associated to the IFL at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Jörgen worked as CEO of Software Innovation Sweden AB. He was also a member of the executive management team of Software Innovation ASA. Software Innovation ASA, a company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, acquired Mynta Management & IT AB in November 2002. Mynta is now an integrated part of Software Innovation in Sweden with approximately 65 employees. Software Innovation is a leading Nordic provider of solutions for document management.

Mynta was a consultancy that delivered high value IT solutions to the Telecom -, Travel-, Finance and Insurance Sectors. When Jörgen came to Mynta his assignment was to make the company ready to go public within 3 years. However, things changed rapidly and immediately it became a question of restructuring the business. In spring 2002 the company had aligned delivery capacity to the market demand, and work commended to find a strong owner of Mynta.

Jörgen´s role: Responsibility for lending activities, venture capital and asset management within the Group. He was also the system owner of the Group´s lending system. Furthermore, Jörgen was a member of the Group´s executive management team and served as board member of three subsidiaries. Jörgen worked with business development at national, international and regional levels. He cooperated with ministries, various bodies of the EU, similar organizations in other countries and with banks and VC.

Part of the period the employer was Gota Bank, which was acquired by Nordbanken (Now Nordea). Jörgen was Bank Director and Head of several branch offices in the Stockholm region. As Gota Bank was integrated into Nordbanken Jörgen was involved in a number of integration projects.
