Expanding the brand presence of Guidebook, a mobile app for events, in Europe.

One of 8 salespeople for a mobile app startup in Silicon Valley. Consistently at the top of the leaderboard and exceeding quotas. Grew the universities vertical into one of 3 key departments in the company. Main responsibilities: qualified incoming leads, gave demos of the product, exhibited/spoke at trade shows, used Salesforce for account management/report generation. Other projects: organized teambuilding events, designed/set up second office in San Francisco, wrote/co-designed marketing materials.

Created a brand of homemade peanut butter, distributed in local health food restaurants, the National University of Bogota and by delivery. Marketing strategy: logo design, t-shirts, stickers, website, Facebook page and mobile app Generated almost 50% profit margins, sold over 500 sandwiches (first two months) and over 100 jars (second two months).

Selected as a grantee one of the most prestigious and competitive exchange programs in the United States. Taught English and cross-cultural classes to public university students Initiated, designed and conducted a four-week special seminar on nonviolent revolutions/student movements during the student strike (lectures and discussions took place outside on the grass, as the university buildings had been blockaded).

Started a small business offering a healthy convenient food alternative to Spokane college students and residents. Won $10,000 as the first place prize in the iStart Business Plan Competition, after passing through three elimination rounds, competing against 38 other plans (all submitted by teams of business students). Designed website with menu, order-by-text message instructions, photos, blog. Generated an average of $200 monthly revenue.

Worked as a canvasser in Fort Collins, CO for a national non-profit environmental lobbying organization . Attended and presented information briefings on current local and national environmental policies. Generated public comment in support of clean energy legislation, specifically the American Power Act. Promoted to Assistant Field Manager after consistently exceeding the daily fundraising standard.
