Graduated summa cum laude with a degree in cultural studies from the International Graduate Center for the Study of Culture. Founder and co-speaker of the working group OIKOS, working at the intersection of ecology, economics, and culture. Designed and taught an undergraduate seminar in the English department entitled "Nature Writing/Writing Nature: The Transcendentalists to the Present."

Internship in the library and archives division. Involved with the digitization of manuscripts for the "Turning the Page" program, the organization and cataloging of 20th century expedition photos, the research for and creation of a new catalog of the Royal Society portraits, and the transcription of an early 19th century diary from explorer Alexander Gordon Laing.

Teaching Assistant for Professor Juergen Trabant's courses on Conceptions of Language and Wilhelm v. Humboldt. Responsible for collecting reading material for courses, doing administrative tasks, and assisting students with writing assignments and required readings.

Graduated summa cum laude from the International Graduate Center for the Study of Culture. The project focussed on popular scientific texts of the 1980's and was entitled "Vital reenchantments: Biophilia, Gaia, Cosmos and the Affectively Ecological."
