I led the THIRD CULTURE KIDS, that is the international student society at the University of Leeds.

I was privileged to work at the department of neurology alongside specialists in the field. This invaluable experience has given me a unique insight into the practice of medicine, as well as the knowledge of diagnostic techniques, including EEG and CT scans, and therapeutics for the treatment of epilepsy. Through this internship, I developed great interpersonal skills through working with patients and medical professionals, as well as initiative skills when expressing my insights and opinions.

Anthony Nolan is a UK charity that works in the areas of leukaemia and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Marrow is network of student groups who work to save the lives of people with blood cancer. One of major aims is to raise awareness of Anthony Nolan and blood cancer and to give students the opportunity to join our stem cell register.

JUST Fundraising is a charity fundraising company. Here I worked as a fundraiser for Spoke UK, national disability charity that campaigns to challenge and change negative attitudes about disability and provides direct services. Scope believes in the social model of disability – that a person is disabled by the barriers placed in front of them by society, not because of their condition or impairment.
