For my Master's thesis, I was able to gain part in a group project. Our aim is to restructure the working patterns at Babcock Faslane. I will write my Master's dissertation about flexible working arrangements based on some of the data gained through this research.

I am recruiting for special roles, such as quality engineer and cost accountant, mostly for the German market.

As part of my Master's course at Strathclyde, I was able to take part in a part-time placement at Adecco/IBM in Greenock (Scotland). I reviewed the currently used recruitment and selection process, with special interest in the online psychometric testing system. In the end, I wrote a 12,000 word long report and also made recommendations for improvements.

The company is based in Regensburg, Germany. I was employed as a customer care agent and advised customer in English and German via phone, email, post and fax. I had to deal with general contract matters, as well as legal issues and bills.

Through a part-time internship in the Human Resource department, I was able to gain first insights into the field of HR. I helped with scheduling employee shifts, as well as interviews and other administrative aspects.

Every summer, I used to work as a cashier and shop assistant for Real in the city of Amberg. Through this, I gained first customer support experience.

I used to work for Siemens throughout my summer and spring semester holidays from 2006 to 2007. I helped prepare the production of conductor plates, and then I had to check them for errors.
