Procurement of spare parts and assembly components for Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Mercedes-Benz Cars. Merger of formerly 2 departments with 6 teams into one department with 4 teams. Located in Wörth and Stuttgart, Germany. Approx. 1000 M€ Volume of buy. Successfully separated car business with new corporate organization in 2019, while keeping most negotiation synergies. Transition of one team to Istanbul, Turkey. Development of spare parts 'Pull' strategy for transfer of series to spare parts.

Overachieved growth, delivery, quality and efficiency targets in 2011 and 2012. Planned and ramped up new assembly plant in Saltillo, Mexico. Performed merger with Detroit Diesel Corporation and led inclusion of operations in engine production facility.

Strategic decision preparation for executive boards to define future production footprint and production locations. Site selection, technical due diligence. Projects in China, India, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, US, Russia and other countries. Application of network analyser tool to optimize funding vs. running cost.
