Lead and manage the development of Yachting Australia’s education and training strategy. Managing all financial aspects of training ensuring we are adhering to a sustainable model. Lead and manage the continuous review and development of the education and training programs ensuring we stay ahead of change and utilise developments in new technology. Implementation of an online learning platform which underpinned the education of key stakeholders at all levels in order to achieve strategic outcomes.

- Manage the implementation of the strategic plan in order to grow the sport and ensure a sustainable business model . - Coordination and execution of the national events calendar. - Securing a strong financial position, with a 5 fold increase in event revenue and an increase in participation funding. - Building and maintaining strong, productive and enduring relationships with key stakeholders

I was recommended for this position following my previous experience within British Cycling. This involved redevelopment of the entire Coach Education Framework and development pathways for all Cycling disciplines, with a primary focus on BMX. During my role I was selected by the Board of Directors to be part of the management team for the 2009 BMX World Championships in Adelaide where I gained valuable international event management experience.

Shortly after completing my University studies I secured a position within British Cycling. Here I developed and delivered the coaching and education programs and resources, including being the lead officer in the development of resources for coaches working with riders with a disability. This included development of curriculum documents in line with the national framework standards.
