• Responsible for the Registry for 15,000 Students of different academic levels: grade, postgraduate and technical • Responsible for the Student Life Macro Process which includes documenting admission, grades registration and control, assistance registration, scholarships registration and renovation, graduation process and archive • Supervision and coordination of the operations team – 38 persons

Preparation of bids and proposals for international donors and grants (EU, USAID, IMF, IDB, private foundations and NGOs). Responsible for the legal and administrative documents related to the Regional Office. Responsible for the training and supervision of the regional team (15 people) on new business development tools and data bases for the technical and financial proposals

Responsible for the external consultant’s procurement process, preparation of Terms of Reference, CV assessment and contracts, Responsible for the internal management of the regional office, office rent, general services contracts, insurance, liaison with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador. Support the Regional Director with the planning annual process, reporting, management of monitoring and evaluation tools.

• Responsible for the implementation of the new HAY salary structure in the five Latin American Countries (Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Nicaragua and Honduras) • Recruiting of the regional Management Team and Country Directors for the five countries in the region • Responsible for the supervision and coordination of the HR team (7 people) in the region

Responsible for the planning, management, coordination and development of Regional Management Team agendas, meeting organization, minutes, logistics; support the regional planning process including timely submission of annual plans and reports, management of the Regional Director´s agenda, including prioritization, delegation and completion of critical tasks in coordination with the Regional Operations Team and his travel arrangements

Responsible for the implementation (planning and monitoring) of Phasing out Projects (CHF 1’940.000) and 2 credit lines: one granted by the Natural Resources Division (NRU) and other by the Latin American Division (AMLAT); administrative and operational monitoring. (CHF 500.000). As part of the Operational Team: Co-responsible for the planning, monitoring and evaluation of the Quito Coordination office’s Program and the definition of the thematic strategies.
