Lead the strategic planning process (Budget, Forecast and Business Plan) and drive company-wide controlling of operational and financial reporting to management, ensuring alignment, consistency and accuracy across the group; Manage the elaboration process of the Annual Report and Management Report; Lead the implementation of corporate tools to support reporting and planning in order to optimize the process and improve visibility and control for key business drivers.

Elaboration of the monthly reporting documents, presentation of the results to the management and preparation of the annual budget, business plan and periodic forecasts; Centralization and sharing of the relevant business information within the company for internal analysis or reporting to external parties

Participation in the financial and strategic communication of the company through multiple channels: quarterly results presentation, press-releases, annual report, Investor Day, investors and analysts meetings, IR website, investors presentations; Provide internal support to many departments: sharing of information (equity research, news about the sector, financial figures), business intelligence, peer benchmarking, IR reports, bond issue prospectus

Preparation of the regulated companies’ business plan and presentation to the Portuguese electricity regulator; Several analysis within the regulatory scope: cost of capital, efficiency frontier, transfer pricing, tariffs proposal, smart-meters; Four-month benchmark project in Naturgas (Spain): study of regulatory remuneration models for gas and electricity distribution and transmission in several countries

Budget preparation and financial reporting; EDP’s SAP BW Project: assessment of financial reporting needs and elaboration of the reports in SAP BW platform; Financial modeling and contractual negotiation of project financed cogeneration plants
