Joined Diversey in 2007 with a new leadership team, the challenge of the team was to reignite growth in China. Reporting to President North Asia, I spearheaded programs to empower sales team pursuing opportunities with less effort, speed up growth without losing control. My teams own bidding/sales qualification process including contract approval, risk compliance and ROI evaluation, demand forecast, data master and sales systems.

Backlog orders reduced by more than 50% within 4 months, achieved year sales target and received Management Award.

Six Sigma is a quality initiative adapted by GE to improve overall competitiveness in marketplace. The achievements of Six Sigma have helped GE stock price reached new heights. Teams of Black Belts, each led by a Master Black Belt (MBB), were responsible for Six Sigma program. Black Belts are full time projects leaders and Masters are coaches and strategic planners.

In this newly created role, I built a new department from ground up to provide supply chain support to 3 BUs as well as directing the service of 3PL Edward Keller Ltd. (EKL). BMSHK contracted out to EKL 6 months prior to my arrival just as EKL established 3PL service. BMSHK was the biggest client of EKL at the time. Besides Hong Kong, supply chain also supported the development of Mainland China market, including several joint ventures.

Joined as a financial analyst, I was promoted to a supervisor position after 18 months. A year later again promoted to Manager, Financial Reporting, in this role I collaborated with senior executives of Marketing to project weekly and monthly sales and gross profit to support Treasury in cash management. Annual revenue of Thrifty in 1992 was USD 3 billion. My forecast regularly fell within 2% of variance to actual, saved the company significant amount in interest.
