Responsible for the day-to-day management of HAITEC’s VIP Maintenance Facility (Line & Base Maintenance), located in Erfurt, Germany. The facility has 50 employees providing aircraft maintenance services, sales support, maintenance planning, engineering support services & logistic support. My duties included development of a Business Plan and the associated budget plan for the facility, budget control / monitoring of the agreed Budget.

Development of HAITEC’s VIP Maintenance and Commercial Aircraft Maintenance Sales & Marketing department. My duties included: supervision of the Sales & Marketing team, establishment of internal processes and procedures, evaluation of potential customers – by aircraft type & airline profile, review and amendment of maintenance agreements, introduction of a Customer Relations Management (CRM) & Contract Management system, customer support including on-site support during visits to Haitec’s facilities.

Duties included the Sale and Marketing of technical services and products provided by Iberia Maintenance. The primary product was the maintenance of aircraft engines and aircraft components at Iberia’s maintenance facility in Madrid, Spain. My duties included customer acquisition, contract negotiation, customer support, claim management, budget & invoice control. Other products included: line maintenance, Landing Gear overhaul, APU overhaul and Engineering services.

Responsible for the sale of third party maintenance services including; line maintenance, base maintenance, engineering services, EASA Part 21 services, component management, component maintenance and engine storage. My department was responsible for customer acquisition, service level definition, cost calculation; contract negotiation & control, after service support, surplus inventory sales, claim management and workshop support.

Responsible for the Technical / Operational control of LTU’s fleet of 26 aircraft, and a number of customer aircraft

Line & Base Avionics Technician - A320, A330, B757, B767, MD11 & L1011

I worked on Cessna, Piper and other general aviation aircraft at the Cessna Service Station at Düsseldorf airport, Germany.

I worked as an electrical technician on a variety of different aircraft during my service in the Royal Air Force, including the BAE Hawk and the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom.
