Expat assignment at wound care production centre - Leading a team of local process engineers - Responsible for installing 2 new production lines and GMP rooms for medical devices and pharmaceutical products - Operation of a pharma extrusion pilot line to develop new innovative formulations with active ingredients - Improving production efficiency by means of lean production (Manufacturing Excellence, MANEX)

- Reorganizing a team of 14 employees to improve collaboration, communication and clarify responsibilities under the newly reinforced department strategy by using excellent change management - Process development and scale-up of all Beiersdorf product formulations in the international production network and at contract manufacture as most important interface between R&D and production

- Leading of up to 15 international projects simultaneously in a matrix organization - Managing cross functional teams of 10-15 members from R&D, packaging development, quality, marketing and supply chain to launch innovative consumer products in the field of cleansing, dermo cosmetic, healthcare, body care, deodorants and face care products

- Execution of production trials up to 5t scale of emulsion formulations within the European production network for cosmetic and wound care products - Scale-up from laboratory via pilot plant to production

- Operation of coating, mixing, extrusion and converting pilot lines to develop medical devices and to produce clinical samples - Set-up of trial schedule and advising operators

- Lab development of pressure sensitive wound care plasters

- Planning, execution and documentation of production trials as well as validation of medical devices and pharmaceutical products under GMP
