International teamwork -- literature review -- effects of food choices on landscapes -- focus on soybean and palm oil -- collaboration with Naturschutzbund Deutschland (NABU) -- raising consumer awareness. Posters and descriptive brochures were made to convey to consumers the impacts of soybean and palm oil plantations on landscapes, the benefits of well being linked to preserved landscapes, the importance of bees and some regional sources of food.

- Coordinating and guiding students for the practical sessions of their courses (mainly food microbiology, food chemistry and food commodity processing). - Participating in various projects undertaken by the department: e.g. community assessment of infant nutrition. - Marking students’ reports from the practical sessions.

- Conducted hourly quality checks on powdered milk products. - Assessed quality control systems. - Prepared samples for external Authorities on food production. - Documented quality checks on paper and in a computer template for traceability
