Playing dual role as a Chief Expert-Powertrain Electronics and Senior Program Manager for Japanese OEM. As a Program Manager, I do business planning, product portfolio management, networking with global production plants,Introducing cost reduction measures, Product roadmap with customer and drive acquisitions. As a Technical expert: Conducting technical reviews, Hardware architecture design, framing strategic competency plan for business unit and fostering innovation.

As a Technical lead, I was responsible for providing architecture/concepts for new generation Automatic transmission control units for German OEMs. Part of the core team responsible for bringing a next Gen Transmission control unit (LTCC based) to series production in 133 days from scratch during the Japanese earthquake crisis. Designed a novel charge pump for current control ASIC. Ratio (cost reduction) ideas for existing platforms.

I was a Subject Matter Expert for Powertrain electronics. Provided Technical and Project management consultancy to emerging market customer projects. Developed operational competency plan for engineering departments. I was responsible for architecting ECU and its interface topologies and evolving product selection criteria for customers.

Collaborated with distributed and multidisciplinary teams to design and develop low cost 24V ECU EDC17CV44/54 for emerging markets (Euro-IV/Euro-V commercial vehicles with common rail diesel injection system). Most successful ECU design and development tailored for a market need at Bosch.

Installed and managed commercial vehicle ECU customer project team for emerging markets. Led the development of first commercial vehicle ECU development from Bosch for customer Ashok Leyland, India. Handled a team size of 10.

Worked as focal point for Deutz, Germany on Electronic Control Unit (ECU) hardware development, testing and customer support. My first stint in Stuttgart-Germany working for Deutz paved the way in establishing ECU development and support team for emerging markets. While in India, developed ‘open loop vehicle simulator’ and managed external suppliers/vendors.

Quickly adapted to the modular instrumentation and single handedly developed cPCI based “Digital to Synchro /Resolver and Synchro/Resolver to Digital” board for low frequency ATE system for Naval Avionics. I was also part of system integration team at customer site.

I designed and developed hybrid microcircuits based on thick film technology for Telecommunication, Industrial and Defense applications. During my initial stint at Centum, developed ATE for testing line card hybrids for Telecom based on Labview.
