Implementation of the policies and procedure, in accordance with the policies and procedures of the hospital, planning of medical equipment including; budgeting and equipment specification development / coordination, equipment procurement with technical evaluation, reviewing market vendors as well as the requirement of the set up and space planning for new hospital projects and existing facilities.

Responsible for the selection, installation and commissioning of all medical equipment of health care facilities, testing & commissioning of equipment, repair, calibrate and maintain medical equipment.

Review hospital functional program and architectural drawings, conduct healthcare planner meetings to determine medical equipment needs, undertake medical and non-medical equipment planning, identify equipment needs, functions and schedule for procurement and installation, evaluate existing medical facilities requirements and provide necessary planning recommendations, preparation of technical specifications for medical and non-medical equipment.
