Manufacturing - Engineering/Production Consultant

During my time in the British Army I worked in several roles, I trained as an Ammunition Technician and deployed on my first tour of Afghanistan to manage in a tri-nation ammunition depot. Upon returning to the UK I completed an intensive Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) training course before re-deploying to Afghanistan as part of a IEDD team, working closely with British, Afghan and NATO Forces to clear devices.

During this time I worked in two main areas, beginning in Toys and Christmas Stationary, before following my department manager to Furniture and Outdoor living, where I became a bit of a BBQ specialist! Throughout my time at John Lewis I became a senior sales assistant; gaining key skills in sales, customer service and marketing. After I had established myself as a key team member, I was given the responsibility of training new employees.
