The job responsibility was to ensure manufacturing and process excellence through TQM and various analytical tools in steelmaking facilities. As a part of this role, I was also responsible for cost reduction initiatives under SHIKHAR 25 EBITDA improvement program.

My job responsibilities included solving problems arising in the steel-making area from the refractories and metallurgical point of view along with new product development for high temperature involving applications. These responsibilities use skills in operations and total quality management along with business strategy skills to mitigate the occurrence of failures in the field of refractories which will hamper the steel production.

Underwent training on: Steelmaking and Casting technology, Total Quality Management, Quality Management Systems, Business Strategy and Planning, Business Ethics, Critical Chain Project Management, Leadership skills (Outdoor leadership Program organised by TSAF). Took a project for 3 months duration as a part of project based learning program.
