I have been working with Adaptive Insight and Intelligence Consulting on an ongoing freelance basis, providing brand strategy, design, videography, and communications support to several brands; Most recently, I have been consulting with a Profit 500 company, creating and editing written content while implementing a LinkedIn-based social media strategy to increase the company’s presence as a thought leader in the financial community.

- Took a lead role crafting newsfeed articles, reaching 600+ unique views within 30 days. - Created and maintained an ongoing content calendar for articles scheduled to be posted within the Testbirds network. - Maintained a social feel within the Testbirds community through the facilitation forum management and monthly achievement awards. - Activated and motivated country-specific communities within the Testbirds network to fulfill tester requirements for high-budget projects.

I used my skills in media relations, content creation, and social media strategy to support multiple clients across a wide variety of industries ranging from national charities to boutique design firms. This included online content creation, extensive media relations gaining Tier A coverage, and management of ongoing social media campaigns.

Figure 1 is a healthcare imaging app aimed at making healthcare more accessible and robust around the world. In this role, I refined my media outreach skills, monitored and reported on social media campaigns, wrote original blog pieces, and contributed to a socially responsible, on-brand communication strategy.

I worked with Canada Sportswear to enhance their social media presence across Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, LinkedIn and Instagram by creating a consistent content flow and constantly interacting with their online community. In this role, I independently created original, timely, and interesting social media posts, incorporating stylized photos of company products, as well as my self-designed industry profile infographic to deliver an effective brand message.

During my time at Ryerson's School of Journalism, I primarily focused on digital media and branding. This included learning how to interact with the social sphere through social media, broadcast and multimedia skills, basic graphic design, and concise communication skills.
