Global Media Dev.id (GMD) in Jakarta, Indonesia is a subsidiary of Global Media Connect in Germany. GMD is specialized in software development Broadcasting Industry. Our customers is our sister company NexCast and 3rd party media company in Europa and Southeast Asia.

NexCast - Next Generation Radio Services. NexCast develops and operates the new Production and Distribution Platform for FM, DAB and Internet-Radios: radio.cloud In addition, we do Full Services for Radio broadcasters like IT services, 24/7 monitoring, signal contribution or running FM transmitters and we are constructing complete Broadcasting Studios. The NexCast team has experience since 20 years in this business.

Global Media Connect GMC GmbH is the holding company of Media entrepreneur Christian Brenner from Munich Germany. GMC’s current subsidiaries are NexCast (Services for Broadcasters), Global Technology Alliance (Investments in Startups in Europe and Asia) and Global Media Dev.id (Software Development for the Media Industry). GMC owned and successfully sold these Media entities: SmartCast (Broadcast Services, today MX1/SES), MagicStar, Radio Hitwelle and Rock Antenne, DMF (Digital Satellite TV).

SmartCast was a Service Provider for more than 160 TV Broadcasters around the world with highly innovative technology. Since 2014 SmartCast belongs to SES, the world leading satellite company. The first two years after the acquisition, the SmartCast entity was independent and stand-alone in the SES group. Since November 2016 SmartCast is part of SES's Service Provider MX1. SmartCast continues as a product name and the former SmartCast Team continues to be responsible for Cloud Based Playout within MX1.

Local Radio in Munich area with 5 FM frequencies. Founded 1996 by Christian Brenner as "Radio Hitwelle", partnership with Antenne Bayern, Germanys biggest private Radio station since January 2011 and transformed into "ROCK ANTENNE". In September 2017 we sold the company to TOP FM, a greater Munich based FM Radio station.
