Eoin O'Gorman

I specialise in helping clients understand, and realistically act upon, the threat and opportunity presented by digital business models. The opportunity afforded to agile organisations is to leverage this new dynamic to enhance their value propositions and grow. The disruptive threat to complacent organisations is in allowing traditional competitors, and competitors from adjacent industries, to use the new value dynamic to alter the basis of industry competition in their favour.

In November 2010, I joined PwC after the firm acquired my previous employer, Diamond Consultants. With PwC, I was a strategy consultant with vertical experience in financial services, private equity, leisure and travel. My horizontal focus was digital strategy & business transformation.

Management consultant within Diamond's Financial Services vertical. Focused on digital strategy and transformation. Consulted on a large-scale, multi-market digital customer servicing programme for a global card payments company.

Manager in Accenture's consulting practice who specialised in large-scale programs. Worked with public sector clients in both Ireland and England. Promoted to manager level in less than 4 years; accelerated promotion from both analyst to consultant and consultant to manager.

Graduated 4th in my MBA class and on "The Director's List" (group of top MBA students). Electives included Venture Capital, Private Equity, Entrepreneurship and Advanced Strategy.

Studied "Networks and Distributed Systems", which was fundamentally about the architecture of the internet and the opportunity the internet presents for business and technology innovation.

Graduated 1st in my class with a first class honours degree; recipient of merit scholarship from Intel; 9 month internship with Analog Devices.
