Appointed as MD for the Seals & Bearings Division worldwide to ensure the continuity and growth of the seals & bearings business under new Finnish management. The business expanded to £80M, 23% profit and 80% cash coefficient, with 300 employees.

After TI Group’s acquisition of Lips, the CEO of the Marine Division appointed me to develop the marine group. We worked towards a strategy of total integrated propulsion solutions, instead of the various products separately. Year on year double-digit growth in sales and profit were achieved reaching £ 150M turnover and 15% profit.

create a new efficient and flexible material management department, responsible for planning, estimation, logistics, purchasing, quality control, storage and transportation. We achieved 10% savings on a 120M NLG purchasing budget in the first year. Stock was reduced to 25%

Developed and implemented a new strategic plan, to address inefficient departmental empires, and create an efficient and flexible organisation to serve the world’s changing market. The new organisation was implemented, comprising 4 divisions; Sales and Engineering, Material Management, Production and Service & After Sales.

Created a 50% LIPS BV joint-venture acbLIPS with main naval competitor ACB in Nantes, for the design, sales, engineering and after sales services of ship propulsion systems for the world’s military naval market

Manager of new Yachtbuilding Division in Naval Shipyard, starting with Yacht "Harmony Bay"
