•Lead the mechanical design for the front end section of the FRIB accelerator which includes components such as ECR sources, a radio frequency quadrupole, and electrostatic magnets •Manage a small team by assigning tasks and acting in a supervisor role

•Became involved in the design, planning, and execution of a liquid helium neutrino target •Communicate with designers and technicians to design and construct heat exchangers, cryogenic and vacuum piping, and instrumentation for research experiments •Write engineering safety documents such as pressure vessel and piping engineering notes

•Develop specifications in accordance to industry codes such as ASME B31, Sec. VIII, and API •Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering practices to power plant items like piping, pumps, valves, heaters, pressure vessels and tanks
