Drove development of engineering deliverables for €1B power station designed in Switzerland and constructed in Wales. Supervised 20 project engineers and 40 indirect reports across multiple locations. Forged excellent relationship with client and negotiated solutions to overcome project roadblocks in a timely manner. Continually ensured agreement between all stakeholders including Alstom engineers, subcontractors, external suppliers and client.

Led commissioning projects for gas-powered turbines and associated equipment in fulfilment of client service contracts. Travelled extensively and worked in challenging environments such as Libya, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Saudi Arabia and Mexico. Directed teams comprised of approximately 5 Alstom engineers and 5 client operators. Ensured fitness of all equipment to withstand operation until next scheduled inspection. Returned plants to operation by clients.

Participated in intensive, multi-year training program designed to prepare candidates for leadership roles throughout the company. Completed “Aerodynamics Engineer for Steam Turbines,” “Execution Concept and Tendering Engineer for Gas Power Plants,” and “Senior Risk Management Engineer for Gas Service” modules.
