As a research member of the HIIK, it is my responsibility to observe, quantify and document the current conflict between the Syrian government and the pro-democracy oppositional forces. Conflict updates are outlined in the CONIS database, and my results are annually published in the institute's conflict barometer.

Before moving from Berlin to Munich, I had the brief oppurtunity of being a research assistant for Prof. Dr. Liese. During this time, I was given the tasks of creating a literary overview of the international role of non-state actors and reviewing the text she was currently writing concerning varying degrees of opennes of the FAO (see "Company Homepage" for publication citation).

As head of Country Communications for the ASCENT Forum, it was my responsibility to lead a team of 6 collegues in supporting CxO candidates through the application and registration process required to attend the event. This included i.a. creating awareness for the event, inviting choice candidates, updating the board on the registration process and offering support and information for pending candidates. The regions attended to were: Africa, ASEAN, East Europe, EU, MERCOSUR, UK, USA.
