Pivotal driver of numerous complex R&D projects, serving as primary point of contact for studies encompassing surface and bulk diffraction in NANO beamline at ANKA synchrotron. Supervised, mentored, and coached Technical Engineers.

Managed and executed complex research project on the Oxidation process of Copper (110). Simultaneously presided over beamline experiments, coordinating Master’s and PhD students through all project phases. Instructed and supported users in synchrotron, calibration, repair and maintenance of instruments as well as experiment design and improvement of outcomes. Supervised and motivated Technical Engineer and PostDoctoral student.

• Expertise in the development and construction of ultra-high vacuum systems. • Characterization of nanoparticles of gold in rutile (TiO2) by GISAXS GIXS, under simultaneous control of its size and shape during the catalytic reaction of CO oxidation in situ in order to explain the relationship between the activity and size of nanoparticles. • Study of the polarity of magnesium oxide films on a silver Ag (111) crystal; by means of STM and STS techniques under ultra high vacuum.

• Supervision of lectures and practical classes in general physics for students of science and engineering. • Researcher at the Surface Physics laboratory: Main topic: Characterization of different types of catalysts in the photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS, UPS, Auger).
