Nathan Burns

As a member of the Data Analysis Team, I am responsible for maintaining the "Grand Grades" - the innovative new way to assess old building projects - using data - based on community and economic needs. Other responsibilities include maintaining all datasets across platforms, and conducting any data analysis that is required to deliver on projects.

My work looks into improving higher education with statistics to help students gain access, progress, and be successful at university. Particularly those from socioeconomically deprived backgrounds. The aim of my research is to provide insights into the higher education sector, and recommend how institutional data can be used to track academic outcomes and the student journey, in order to provide impact to the students in need of support.
