Processing and analysis of solar UV and extreme-UV spectra, images, and magnetograms acquired with different satellite-based instruments (e.g., Solar Orbiter's SPICE, EUI and PHI; SDO's AIA and HMI; IRIS). Co-registering of observations acquired simultaneously with instruments at different vantage points. Fitting of emission line profiles from the solar transition region and corona.

Overseeing the organization of the Astronomy seminars for high school students. Preparation of program for ~7 yearly seminars with ~30 participants, management of a team of ~15 teaching assistants, communication with the logistics and supplies departments, evaluation of the participants, yearly conference organization, preparation of conference proceedings.

Hands-on observations of galaxies in optical emission with a 2m telescope, in search for supernova remnants. Reduction and analysis of optical observations.

Data mining project in Python, with an aim to filter the observations of sunspots with strong magnetic fields from the Hinode SOT/SP observational database.

Studied the upper atmosphere of the quiet Sun, with a focus on the million-degrees-hot solar corona and its relation to the lower layers of the atmosphere. Analyzed solar images and spectra in the UV and extreme-UV domain.

Studied the Cygnus Loop supernova remnant, with an aim to measure the propagation speed of the shockwave. Processed and analyzed optical images of Cygnus Loop acquired with different ground-based telescopes and optical filters.
