As part of the Microsoft Mission Critical Team, I lead some of Microsoft's most prominent customers. My technology focus is Azure Infrastructure in general and a specific focus on Azure for SAP workloads.

In this role I was helping the T-Systems Public Cloud team to deliver digital business solutions for enterprise clients based on the Microsoft Azure technology and the T-Systems managed cloud services.

Product and Portfolio Management around Microsoft Cloud Ecosystem; Development of new Microsoft Cloud related services in conjunction with the telephony core business; Sales support with the focus of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365; Innovation projects with focus of enterprise collaboration or data driven business.

Responsible for a team of about eight people serving several large Oil & Gas customers with a multimillion USD of total contractual volume. Key activities: Business development during the sales phase; Steering of large-scale cloud migration projects; Ramp-up and delivery of cloud managed services using ITIL derived frameworks and standards; Managing operation expenses to meet the company financial goals; Continuous improvement of service quality and efficiency.

Various program and project management, pre-sales as well as architecting roles with the focus to win and to deliver large-scale SAP outsourcing deals; Leading of International large-scale IT transition and transformation projects with the focus to migrate new customers’ IT landscapes into the T-Systems private cloud platform. Leading projects with the focus to improve and stabilize IT infrastructure services for T-Systems clientele meeting contractual Service Levels.

Technical Expert and Certified EMC Professional for Data Protection solutions specializing in storage, backup and restore for Enterprise sectors; Planning and operations of complex backup and restore landscapes for the enterprise clientele of T-Systems; Assessment of customers' requirements, design and implementation of solutions in complex open systems environments.

Administration, monitoring and maintenance of various systems and applications in the open systems division. Programming of Java Apps, SQL and Unix scripts.
