Reported to the Steerco and was responsible for Transforming the organisation, simplifying processes, and reducing complexity in the technology landscape. This enabled LGC to scale significantly supporting its next stage of acquisitive growth and preparing for the next PE cycle.

Reporting to the Steerco and delivering substantial business benefit from their SaaS Enterprise cloud Platform – SalesForce.com, Oracle NetSuite and Workday in 48 countries. Complex Global stakeholder management covering US, Europe and APAC.

This covered Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Construction, Milk and Energy whilst optimising supply chains for their key customers such as Adidas, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, B&Q and many other UK and International brand names

Responsible for delivering the Digital transformation of UK Field Operations and Services covering Customer Contact Centres and 11,000 Field Service Engineers in this heavily regulated sector. Primarily focused on British Gas, the programme delivered direct annual benefits of £50m with the business outcome focused on a single multi-skilled workforce and improved customer experiences that will generate growth and drive consumers to the digital channel. Extensive and complex stakeholder management.

Responsible for the transformation of Sales, Finance, Procurement and HR business functions using technology as the enabler. Delivering £80m in annual direct benefits, improved customer experience, reduction in head count, shift to shared service centres. Complex CxO stakeholder management with UK & Ireland, France and North America.

Mobilised, led, managed and delivered the transformation of the Group IT function covering commercial frameworks, Sourcing Strategy, Demand Management, Enterprise Architecture, Design, Build, Security, Service and Support functions. Responsible for delivering a new IT Target Operating Model, tracking benefits realisation, cultural and organisational change. Challenging stakeholder management and reported to the Steerco

Led and managed the Global Sales Digital Transformation of Application Services Europe, North America & Asia, Capgemini Global Consulting Practice, Infrastructure Services, Business Process Outsourcing and Latin America. Delivering global sales growth of £700m over 3 years though increased cross-selling & up-selling, reduced customer churn and improved visibility of leads and opportunities.

Mobilised the transformation of TNT’s core business during the FedEx acquisition process. Scope covered Customer Care, Road haulage, warehousing, depot management and Air Freight worldwide. The programme enabled new business growth, reduced overhead, optimised and simplified business processes and an improved customer journey and experience

Turned-around a distressed business and digital transformation programme aimed at transforming the consumer imaging, business imaging and OEM divisions in 25 countries. Business functions included Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Procurement, Human Resources and IT.

Reported to the Steering Committee and CTO while based in Switzerland and responsible for transforming security, internal controls and regulatory compliance. Significant emphasis placed on internal controls and securing Intellectual property given the heavily regulated nature of this sector. Deployment to 50 countries.

London based African Minerals leads exploration, rail & port construction, operations and production of Iron Ore in Sierra Leone & operations in China. As a member of the Executive Management team reported to the Group CEO and responsible for the usual CIO portfolio whilst working with a very tight budget, full P&L responsibility and operating in a challenging and sometimes hostile country.

London based ENRC has a portfolio of natural resource commodities in vertically integrated business units in UK, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Brazil and Africa. Reported to the Group CEO and was a member of the group management team and responsible for the usual CIO portfolio with full P&L responsibility. Also acted as the Chairman and CEO of a subco tasked with delivering business and IT transformation.

Luxembourg based ArcelorMittal is the world’s largest steel company with business units vertically integrated across metals, mining, utilities and transportation. Reported to the SEVP and CEO and responsible for the CIO portfolio of Global Mining & Tubular Products, CIS, Asia, Africa and Middle East (22 countries, 44 business units, 4 continents). Demand/supply IT model and complex matrix organisation.

Created by Rémy Cointreau, Highland Distillers, Absolut and Jim Beam; Amsterdam based Maxxium Worldwide was one of the world’s leading premium wine and spirits companies. Maxxium operated in 35 countries with sales, warehousing, production facilities and retail outlets in Asia Pacific. Reported to the CFO and responsible for IT globally.

Reported to the VP of operations and was responsible for IT Strategy, information management, outsourcing, disaster recovery, Year 2000 project, process control systems and data centre operations.
