Als Lean Engineer verantwortlich für drei Produktionsabteilungen der Business Unit Advanced Refractories am Standort Borken

In this position I was responsible for the Boards-Plant and the Goods Receipt incl. a batching station with overall 45 emloyees. The Boards-Department produce hot-tops, plates, corrugated-boards and tundish lining systems for ingot and contineous casting. The batching station prepare premixes for the refractory-shop and the turbostop-line.

Personnel responsibility for 10 employees. Responsible for order processing and personnel planning as well as construction site planning.

DuBay is a Joint-Venture between DuPont and Bayer (now Lanxess). It is the largest PBT-Plant in the world with an annual capacity of 80.000 tons. In this positition I had two jobs simultaneously: Shift-Coach for one of four production teams and the responsibility for the Supply-Chain-Team of the Company as it's leader. The crossfunctional-teams were structured and organized in a High-Performance-Works-Culture (HPWC). That includes that administrative roles also performed by production people.
