Within the frame of coöperation between Zuyd University and regional secondary schools and parallel to my job as a Teamleader at Zuyd University, I part-time teach Mathematics on 1st degree pre-university level.

The Faculty of International Business & Communication (FIBC) of Zuyd University in Maastricht (NL), consists of 4 Bachelor programmes, i.a. International Business (IB). The mission of FIBC is to educate entrepreneurial, internationally oriented young professionals for positions in international business. As a Lecturer, I provide classes to international students. This also involves (individual supervision of) projects, internships, theses, coaching and active contribution to educational innovation.

I performed systems-analytical research on aero-thermodynamics of so-called ‘Dual Mode RAM/SCRAM’ propulsion-systems. Successes: • Faculty of Aerospace Engineering (RWTH) and Institute for Propulsiontechnology (DLR) evaluated my final thesis research ‘summa cum laude’ (awarded with ‘Springorum’ commemorative medal). I performed exploratory research on international moon-exploration scenarios. My research was input for an international team of engineers/ researchers from all over Europe. Publication: ‘Lunar Base Architectural Concepts’, ESA/ESTEC, E.W.P. 1707, Noordwijk zh, January 1993

The scientific Institute for General Mechanics offered this job to me, which I combined with my study. My task was i.a.: • Teaching students of several faculties in the field of Mechanics/Dynamics; • Preparing students for their exams (e.g. open office-hours); • Homework preparation/evaluation – the result was decisive for the students to pass their exams. In average I was responsible for 80 international students/semester.
