Co-founder and Director of Development for an early market mobile marketing company that brought grocery coupons to the mobile phone. Participated in the raising of USD $500,000 capital from private investors. Generated and maintained business relations through networking with potential business partners in technology sector, FMCG companies, and investors in the U.S. and Europe. Analyzed market opportunities, and oversaw internal communications among a group that spanned three countries.

Led business development activities in the U.S. for what is today Turkey's fourth largest construction company to cultivate and establish business relations with American companies. Responsible for organizing and presenting marketing materials as well as planning and executing all corporate activities in the U.S. with government and industry officials. Managed projects ranging from prospecting for Iraq reconstruction subcontracts to franchising opportunities in Europe.

Assisted the then-Director of External Affairs, North America, with new responsibility of heading U.S. Government Relations. Analyzed and wrote reports on new Transportation Security Administration policies following the September 11th attacks and its effect on foreign air carriers. Responsible for tracking and interpreting U.S. policy and business developments of interest to the Lufthansa system. Organized and wrote extensive reports on pressing bilateral E.U. and U.S. regulatory issues.

Worked on behalf of multiple Fortune 250 clients, such as Boeing and Lockheed Martin, to secure U.S. telecom interests in the international arena. Actively participated at United Nations and telecom industry conferences. Managed and organized research and database of technology and regulatory developments in global telecommunication, satellite, and IT markets.

Worked as a member of the administration and logistics for the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the UN's body for for global telecommunications issues based in Geneva. Organized and implemented computer aided design programs in coordination with EXPO Center Johannesburg to prepare for Africa TELECOM ’98, a conference on international telecommunication policies.
