• Part of the Language Solutions Life Sciences Business Development team, London. • Familiarity & knowledge with industry document types and workflow processes associated with multilingual documentation for Life Sciences companies. • Strong linguistic industry knowledge including technical skills around Translation Memory tools & terminology management. • Focused on new business, ensured overall client satisfaction with services and products provided.

• Managing all medical translation, typesetting and linguistic needs; for a portfolio of international clients across the Life Science sector. • Taking ownership and overseeing of all stages of large & complex projects, from quotation to delivery. • Including sourcing and management of translators, proof readers and quality checkers; as well as financial management and meeting of budget targets.

Project Manager (up to February 2010) -> Senior Project Manager (March 2010 to June 2011). • Communicating daily with key clients, meeting all of their translation needs to deadline and in a friendly & professional manner. • Providing price and delivery schedule quotations, negotiating deadlines, handling queries and glossary creation/maintenance. • Heavily relied upon to take the more difficult of projects and to provide guidance and help informing/training new members to the team.

A mixture of Translation, Interpreting, History, Cultural and Literary modules; focusing on Francophone and Hispanophone countries and languages.
