Responsibility for the healthy state of Information Systems and Services supported by NCIA CSU Stavanger ensuring that the levels of service availability and quality are permanently met as agreed with the Agency customers. Responsible for Configuration Management and control activities and their compliance with Configuration Management processes; Accountable for license management and version control. Accountable for Quality Assurance of IT Services delivered before and during the NATO Exercises and Events.

My task is to deliver IT Services Management (ITSM) processes and Organizational Transformation solutions based on ITIL best practices that focus on people, process, technology and information. This includes all aspects of ITSM best practices and methods from analysis, through architecture and design, to planning, implementation, and support. I was lead process analyst for development and improvement of Service Operation and Transition processes.

As Member of the Steering Council cooperating with the system engineers of the IT Department, we have introduced new technologies in the agency, enabling it to catch up with the fast digitalization on the Media Market and develop new platforms and products.

My task was to support and maintain data and database systems (DB2 z/OS, DB2 UDB, Oracle, DB2 Connect, Data Stage) in order to meet business delivery specifications and needs. I was to effectively manage daily activities and tasks related to Database Administration and Second Level Support for DB systems. I was responsible for the performance, integrity and security of database systems, including planning, migrating, development, monitoring and troubleshooting.
