They all include the promise: We can never thank you enough. It’s our turn to be your hero now. Many of wish there was more we can do to say Thank You to our service members and their families. Through efforts of the Thank you Challenge, and generous donations, now there is.

The Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) is a DoD-wide effort to help National Guard and Reserve Service members and their families connect with local resources before, during, and after deployments, especially during the reintegration phase that occurs months after Service members return home.

My first objective is to develop the ABA Celebrity Lunch program that brings NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL legends to communities around the country.

Joined the Army in Nov 1967 and was delivering jet fuel up and down the Mekong Delta in South Vietnam in Sept 1968. Served three years and left the service. After a long break in service, I re-entered the USAR and then retired in June 2011. Spent years in Retention and Family Readiness activities.
