After 13 years in non-stop startup pace, I needed some time off to rest, meditate, catch up on my reading, reconnect with old friends and make new ones, and ponder on new projects and/or jobs to do next... Still doing it, but the itch to move on is getting stronger and stronger, now... Just have to find the right thing to jump into :)

I'm one of Brazil's digital entertainment industry most experienced CEOs, having lead for 8 years the country's largest game developer/publisher, overseeing multi-million dollar projects like it's massive online game, Taikodom, and the expansion of it's publishing operation. Strategically, I was also responsible for the global partnership with IBM, publishing negotiations, and all top level communications including PR and product and company presentations.

Attracted a large following for Taikodom in Brazil, making it one of Brazil’s most expected launch. Got the attention of GamesFirst, the world’s leading “free-to-play” publisher.
 My interviews and press releases on both company and product were featured on printed magazines like Veja (Brazil’s Newsweek), Exame, Época Negócios, IEEE Magazine, GamesBeat, Monocle. They were also featured in innumerable online articles, from simple blogs to WSJ and Bloomberg.

Co-creator of the original fictional Universe. Responsible for planning and developing a franchise business under tent-pole of massive online game, including localization guidelines and international IP rights protection of trademarks and assets.

It took 3 years to refine the business plan. After many visits to funds, we finally found an investor and, after a few months negotiation plus due diligence, we signed with them in January, 2004. When not working on funding, I did web programming and worked both in 3rd-party projects, like OTIMUM, and our own MegaHedron.
