Lecturer for software development

I designed, implemented and reviewed customer software projects which were based on .NET technology. Furthermore, I coached customers in .NET technology and Windows Azure. In my second role @ Trivadis I was in charge as Discipline Manager for Microsoft technology based component development. The main focus in this role was developing the component strategy and pushing component development within Trivadis.

Lead developer of a web-based (ASP.NET) enterprise warehouse product software. This product was implemented in ASP.NET, Ajax, Web Services, Windows Services, SQL Server, Oracle, .NET Remoting and WCF. We shipped two major releases during this time. I worked together with customers and implemented customizations for this product. I evaluated and made some proof of concepts for several technologies (e.g. WF, WPF, team server ALM platform …) for the team.

Implemented and maintained in-house real estate management software which was based on Visual Fox Pro. Implemented two tools to facilitate the automatic data transfer between instruments and the data center. For these tools I implemented a C++ library to connect directly via a GPRS modem to these instruments.

Maintained the server infrastructure for a telecommunication price comparing web portal. This portal was based on static generated HTML pages and a C/C++ implemented framework (user forum and dynamic content support). This portal was run under apache and Linux. Implemented a user tool to test the internet connection speed of our web portal readers.

Specialized software engineering and development, database developing, IT project management, and business case analysis.

Studies focused on assembler programming, object-oriented software development with C /C++, web development, software engineering with UML, database design, database developing and network systems. During my apprenticeship I created a lot of prototypes for numerous desktop applications.
