As the Founding Head of the Department, raised expertise in service industries by engaging teams and experts into new fields and initiating research projects. Supervising a multidisciplinary team of 15 industry experts in strategy and policy formulation in a broad set of service industries, covering construction, tourism, trade, customs and telco. Managing an investment portfolio of 270 projects with $10 billion value for 70 public organizations providing public services.

Facilitated more than 30 focus group meetings and workshops involving more than 1000 participants for 15 public and nonprofit sector organizations to develop strategy papers and action plans.

Formulated industrial strategy and public policy for metals and mining industries, in coordination with public and private sector organizations. Represented Turkey at OECD High Level Steel Committee meetings and at meetings with the European Commission. Evaluated public investment projects, consulted to state economic enterprises and built the $ 1 billion public investment program for metals and mining industries.

Conducted competitive analysis providing strategies to improve United Way’s position in the philanthropy sector. Analyzed current strategic planning activities and developed a model which guided the new planning process.

Taught Motion and Time Study class. Advised 20 student projects.
