Cognoscere Consulting is a management consultancy operated by postgraduate students of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). My client was a financial advisory service provider that exclusively works with social enterprises. In this project I worked with an interdisciplinary team to provide a market entry strategy.

“China railway group limited (CREC)” is a Chinese state-owned, international infrastructure company that ranks 71st among the Fortune Global 500 companies (in the year 2015) and is the second largest construction contractor in the world. I worked with CREC´s wholly owned subsidiary “CREC Electrification Bureau” in a team consisting of 5 international and interdisciplinary graduates in order to provide an international expansion strategy with actionable recommendations.

As part of the Honours College programme I conducted a research project in which the principles of human resource management were linked to organisational climate.

Teaching multiple groups of psychology students research methods for the social sciences. As part of the teaching assignment I participated in a series of weekly meetings to develop teaching skills and a deep understanding of certain research methods. The teaching assignment also included preparing a one-day course that conveys research ethics to research interns.

As part of the Honours College, I conducted a study in the field of social psychology. Examining the possible effects of blushing on interpersonal behaviour was the aim of the endeavour. This research programme, which was as extensive as a bachelor´s dissertation research, spanned from inception of the research question to giving a formal presentation of the results and included instructions in research methodology.

This interdisciplinary master at a world-leading academic institution fosters both specialist knowledge in human resource management as well as a general understanding of business and management.

This extracurricular programme is being completed on top of the regular bachelor studies and is worth 45ECTS which is equivalent to almost a year of full-time studies.
