Established advanced product group to integrate technologies of various business units within division Interior of Continental.

Managed purchasing volume of $2.4 billion and staff of 370 buyers/SQM engineers in 11 locations worldwide for 4 business units. Responsible for target setting, planning, optimization and control of material contributions to EBIT.

Managed 50 Advanced Purchasing engineers worldwide, driving overall material targets through early involvement of Purchasing in the product design process. Responsible for setting the guidelines, tools and processes for Siemens Automotive Purchasing worldwide.

Globally responsible for $250 million purchasing volume. Managed commodity buyers for Siemens Automotive which included commodity strategy, annual negotiations and supplier management.

Managed successfully the development of various airbag electronic control units for Ford Motor Company including production launch in Guadalajara (Mexico) and Johnson City, TN. Joint Development project between Siemens Automotive and Visteon.

Responsible for the introduction of airbag control units into production for BMW, VW, Rolls Royce and Alfa Romeo
