Maurice Aboki

Political Advisor for the EU Special Representative for the Sahel (EUSR-Sahel): Advised and represented the EUSR-Sahel in Mali and collaborated closely with the ambassador, Head of the EU-Delegation in Bamako. Contributed actively beside the International Community to all peace dialogues, negotiations and the success of the Peace agreement between the Malian parties and its implementation for sustainable stability and development.

Political Affairs and Peace building: Assisted and advised accurately the AU-High Representative for Mali and the Sahel (MISAHEL), the former Head of State of Burundi, late Pierre BUYOYA for the fully implementation of the African Union mandate for the Sahel, by contributing to the resolution of the political crisis in Mali and monitoring the socio-political situation in the Sahel region for sustainable Peace building and stability.

Observation, Monitoring and Evaluation of the electoral process, critical and in depth analysis of political and social situation or any related event in the host country in the perspective of the electoral process. worked as STO in Mali in the two rounds of the presidential elections of 2013.

Elections Administration: Provided technical and in particular logistic assistance to the provincial independent electoral commission in the planning, deploying and recuperation of the electoral materials and equipment. Contributed to the capacity building of the electoral agents and the monitoring of the electoral process inclusive the observation on the e-day.

Observation, Monitoring and Evaluation of the electoral process, critical and in depth analysis of political and social situation or events in the host country in the perspective of the electoral process. worked as LTO and STO respectively in Guinea Conakry and Côte d'Ivoire in the run-off presidential elections of 2010.

Elections Management : Technical and logistic assistance to the independent election commissions at national, regional and local levels. Coaching, monitoring and evaluation of all phases of the electoral process (Identification and record per GPS of all polling stations, Public hearing, Identification of the population, Voter registration, Procurement, Polling roll etc.) with accurate recommendations.

Technical assistance and translation in asylum issues. Counseling the personnel judge upon political systems in the developing countries especially on african cultural realities beyond their understanding.

Management of database upon foreign students and programme exchange. Information and orientation for foreign students and professors at the university and with authorities for appropriate legal resident permit.
