Innovation Product Manager

Akin is focused on helping enterprises and entrepreneurs create successful new startups and avenues of growth. Our work encompasses hands-on advisory, startup incubation, access to innovative forms of capital, and connections with a network of thought leaders.

Worked to implement agile processes across the organization while working closely with the product management team to develop product roadmaps and creation of epics/user stories. Co-led the deployment of a proof of concept with a strategic partner from requirement gathering to internal development.

Developed a go to market plan from funding to product pilot phase. Lead the development of internal day to day operations. Scouted and worked with technical employees to create a prototype development pathway. Competed in 8 business plan competitions and won over 100K.

Worked closely with technology startups to create a strategic plan for integration within a vehicle. Researched and authored internal strategy for the growth and direction of the incubator program. Led scouting efforts to recruit startups that aligned with the incubator objectives. Analyzed internal incubator activities for areas of proficiency and improvement.

• Worked with Angel Investors to narrow down applications for investment. • Performed due diligence activities that included: competitor analysis, report creation, and business analysis.

Synthesized insights, developed recommendations and executed on-the-ground research to create key briefs. Utilized design thinking principles for rapid prototyping activities. Managed client communications to drive key milestones and maintain overall cadence of innovation projects. Collaborated with experience leads to execute production needs to create an immersive innovative environment.
