Led five product teams (~25 FTE), reporting to CTO. Grew process maturity from an informal base: scrum, sprint rhythm, self-organising teams. Built a 24/7 incident response team and ran gamified events (Flagathon, Polishing Weeks) to ship what the roadmap missed. Focused on people growth, internal mobility, and coaching. As Security Officer, owned the ISO 27001 ISMS from scoping through recertification, calibrated to Rentman's SaaS reality.

Led business analysis, development, QA, and release across two dev teams and an operations team (18 FTE), reporting to CTO. Consolidated two non-collaborating teams through hiring, coaching, and structural change. Later formed a second team with Schuberg Philis for an Azure cloud migration. Managed continuous delivery, core banking releases (FiveDegrees), and hosting ops. Point of contact for ABN AMRO during compliance audits.

Led the scrum/agile development team and external development (15 FTE) for De Telegraaf, reporting to the CTO. Built and launched a new news website and apps, followed by ongoing development in close alignment with editorial, business, and DevOps. One of the most-visited sites in the Netherlands, performance under traffic load was a key focus. Took over a team in a turbulent period; stabilised culture and process through careful hiring and a deliberate scrum master swap.

Led a development team (6 FTE) bridging business, technology, and customer service. Owned online authentication, subscriber self-service, and subscription sales systems across De Telegraaf, Vrouw, Privé, and Autovisie. Built a new subscriber self-service portal (Mijn Telegraaf) against a hard deadline, including a cross-brand digital identity. Later extended with a Talpa video platform integration. Also process owner for digital replica editions and reader products across web, mobile, and apps.

Joined as employee #4 at a startup spun out of Wifac; shareholder until 2013, then CTO. Built workflow software for newspaper press rooms and page transmission, used by all major Dutch nationals and Wegener regionals. Pioneered digital newspaper publishing: NRC as the first Dutch paper on mobile, followed by De Volkskrant, Trouw, De Telegraaf, FD, and Blendle. Led development, implementations, and support; managed an external mobile dev team in India. International clients in DE, CH, UK, and NO.
