Creation and active shaping the of strategic marketing, portfolio management of the business and the subsequent reaction: observation and assessment of the market regarding competitors, requirements of different regions / segments, market share, new market opportunities and changing conditions. Provide leadership and coordination, supervision and focusing of the sales network and its activities.

Managing the marketing and international sales team of the NIR business is the main objective of this position. Moreover the position includes all key accounting activities in the NIR business and the coordination of the international sales network.

Responsible Key Account Manager within the NIR business. In this position I closely cooperated with the Sales Management as well as our affiliated companies and distribution partners to establish and assure global supply and support contracts in order to extent and ensure the Buchi sales activities.

As International Sales Support (Near Infrared Spectroscopy) I was responsible for the budget of the NIR business as well as market evaluation, strategy development, gap analysis of distribution channels and networking. Focus markets were Far East, North America, Europe and the pacific countries.
