I cover 10 countries across Asia Pacific with Profit & Loss responsibility for three business streams. It comprises about 200 people with a double digit mill EUR turnover. My activities cover operations, business development and strategic positioning of the TR Brand to bring forward compliance, safety, quality and security for the automotive, manufacturing, ICT and other industries.

As Chief Technical Officer (CTO) I was responsible for profit and loss for all operative Business Streams of TUV Rheinland Japan. This position reported directly to the CEO and President of TR Japan and CRO for Asia Pacific. The Business Streams covered the areas of Industrial Services, Mobility, Products and Management Systems. I had 300 people reporting to me through 10 direct reports, and interacted with colleagues from non-operative departments such as financing, administration and human resources.

I covered the Asia Pacific Region from Middle East to Australia inclusive Greater China with a marketing team of 15 people and sales team of about 250 people.

I laid the fundamentals of marketing activities for the company in Asia. The area covered from India to Japan and from Greater China to Australia.

I covered Japanese Key Accounts in the field of construction (fastening technology), based in Tokyo (two years) and in Kuala Lumpur (one year). The objective was to to foster regional framework agreements and bulk purchasing coming from Japanese construction and engineering companies.

Head of the sales office in Japan to distribute furniture fittings, permanent residence in Tokyo. The turnover grew to EUR 1 mill with people.
