I was the first employee of GKN Freight Services GmbH, this meant: • Setting up the office and reporting structures • Coordinating all transport and analytical services required by German and Polish customers

Following redundancy due to restructuring, assignments principally in logistics - including Local Health Authority, Engineering and Construction

The Factored Products department was set up as a result of the merger with the Bosch Group. The role included: • Management of £8m of annual purchases, including annual cost negotiations • Coordination of in-bound logistics to multiple European warehouses, including stock and service level maintenance – both product and accessories

An opportunity in: • Managing and redeeming Letters of Credit • Import and export of spare parts (some under customs control) • Insurance claims • Identifying and implementing process improvements

Thesis: Evaluation of existing reuseable containers logistics and the development of a reuseable packaging model for a tier one supplier in the automotive industry
