Grew pharmaceutical engineering services operations pipeline and and services revenue. Developed and executed specific strategy in alignment with global strategic direction for engineering services operations in US. Transformed an existing business area that was regionally segmented with mixed performance that was transformed to a cohesive business unit delivering a balanced project portfolio including multi-million automation design and integration project for a greenfield pharmaceutical plant.

Develop and Lead new Manufacturing Information Solution (MIS) business globally providing consulting and engineering services for life sciences customers. Managed MIS team delivering strategic consulting and technical engineering services in Manufacturing Intelligence and Manufacturing Systems. As a natural part of building up these business areas I am also heavily involved in Business Development, Marketing, and Sales Enablement.

Responsible for strategy, marketing, and planning of Manufacturing Business Intelligence and Interoperability product suites, using the Pragmatic Marketing methodology. Guide product development from initial technical prototypes to final release in an Agile development process.

Managed research activities in “advanced concepts for highly agile manufacturing systems”, involving Holonic Manufacturing Systems and multi-agent systems concepts that were the archetype for IIoT. Managed staff of 10+ lecturers, graduate students, and technicians.

Researched concepts and architectures for agile manufacturing systems using emerging technologies such as multi agent systems and novel concepts that are now known as Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and IIoT.
